NAR thanks Representatives DeFazio and Chaffetz for introducing the "SHIELD Act."

NAR sent a letter to Representatives Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) thanking them for introducing H.R. 845, the "SHIELD Act," which is a step in protecting innovators from broad claims of patent infringement based on patents of questionable validity brought by non-practicing entities.
