NAR statement to the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Livestock, Rural Development, and Credit for its hearing titled "Livestock, Rural Development, and Credit." The statement encourages the Subcommittee to only consider changes to Federal housing program that would enhance access for more qualified buyers make and make it easier for these families to obtain safe, affordable, decent homes in the communities in which they chose to live. Additionally, the statement expresses NAR's strong opposition to any changes that further constrain mortgage financing.
