NAR Coaliton Letter to House and Senate Apropriations Commmittees and Transportation committees Regarding FY 17 TIGER Funding

On March 7, 2016, NAR as part of a broad coalition of Government and Private stakeholders, sent a letter to the Chairs and Ranking Members of House and Senate Apropriations Commmittees and Transportation Subcommittees.
The letter requests that, in the Transportation-HUD appropriations bill for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017, the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) program be funded at or above the FY2016 level of $500 million and that the Federal Transit Administration’s Capital Investment Grants program is funded at the FAST Act authorization level of $2.3 billion.
