NAR Statement for House WM Select Revenue committee Hearing on Expired Provisions

On March 12, NAR submitted a Statement for the Record for the House Ways and Means, Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures' hearing titled "Temporary Policy in the Internal Revenue Code. The statement urges the Subcommittee to support extending the group of important tax provisions that expired at the end of 2017. The Subcommittee was asked to consider the importance of extending the exclusion for cancellation of mortgage debt on a principal residence.
