Coalition Thank You Letter to Senators Rounds and Warner Regarding Delay of FHFA GSE Reg Capital Framework Final Rule

On December 29 NAR signed on to a coalition letter to Senator Rounds and Senator Warner which expressed the signatories deep concern regarding the potential impact of the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s Enterprise RegulatoryCapital Framework Final Rule. The letter cautions of the potential harm of issuing a rule with such major implications for the housing market without first conducting a thorough impact analysis on market stability, the cost and accessibility of credit, and the GSEs’ ability to support liquidity in the market through all economic cycles.
